My name is Ciarra Morgan and I'm the owner of Empowered Beginnings. I am a wife and mother of two children: a thirteen-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son. I have experienced both sides of birth. I had my daughter in a military hospital with an epidural and I had my son unmedicated in a birthing center with a midwife and doula. The level of preparedness was night and day which made all the difference. I took HypnoBirthing classes during my pregnancy with my son and credit the outcome of this birth to the Mongan Method. I was so empowered by the experience I had that I immediately began feeling lead to help other women achieve their perfect birth. My goal isn't to give you my birth experience, it is to prepare you for your unique birth so you can achieve what you are looking for. I have experience supporting birth at many different hospitals and birth centers in the Austin area. I have supported a wide range of situations including medicated and unmedicated birth, adoption, c-section, VBAC, elective induction, medically necessary induction, and many special circumstances (twins, pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, IUGR, IVF, etc.).
Being your doula means I am connected with you from the moment we meet and you can contact me throughout your pregnancy. My intention is not to take over the role of your birth companion but to support both of you. I provide physical, emotional and informational support to the birthing person and birth companion. I would be honored to serve you and your family for your pregnancy and birth.
My name is Samantha, and I am a birth doula, GentleBirth trained childbirth instructor, wife, and mama to two! My journey to birth-work began after having my first child, when I desperately wanted to learn more about birth and learn how to be more in control of my experience. I dove into learning everything I could, started listening to podcasts, researching standards and practices for birth in other countries, and listening to birth stories from other women. Because of all of that, when I found myself pregnant with my daughter, I knew some of the things that I wanted to do differently. I hired a doula early in my pregnancy and it truly made all of the difference for me. She taught me how to ask questions, how to take control, and how to listen to myself. Through that experience, and the passion I felt learning about birth, I decided I wanted to pursue doula work as well, so that I could help other birthing people have the experience they desire.
My goal as your doula is create a relationship built on trust and compassion, and to support both you and your birth companion throughout the pregnancy and birth experience. I want you to feel empowered to make the choices that will help you to achieve the birth you dream of, whether that is an epidural the moment you walk in the hospital, or an unmedicated home birth with a midwife. I will provide physical, educational, and emotional support throughout your journey, from the moment we meet until you are tucked in your own bed at home after your delivery. I would be honored beyond measure to walk this path with you!

I am a Birth and Postpartum Doula and the mother of two daughters. I have always loved children, especially babies! Birth and Postpartum have been a passion of mine since the moment I felt the empowering energy that giving birth and motherhood brings. I love helping families come into their own and find their way through the early sacred days of parenthood. I feel passionate about bringing awareness to postpartum mood disorders and helping new moms and their loved ones navigate those rough waters. I would love to help you in building your support system for motherhood.
Hi, I’m Amanda! I’m a wife, mom to two wild and wonderful boys, and a passionate birth enthusiast. My journey into doula work began after my second birth, where I experienced the incredible support of a doula and saw how transformative it could be. That moment inspired me to train through Birth, Baby! Academy and dedicate myself to helping moms feel empowered and supported as they bring their babies into the world.
Community and connection are at the heart of everything I do. My love language is words of affirmation, and I cherish the bonds I create with my clients. Whether I’m hosting loved ones at my house, sharing stories, or supporting families during one of the most important moments of their lives, I’m all about building meaningful relationships. I feel so honored to play a role in my clients’ unique journeys, helping them achieve the best birth experience possible.
My name is Morgan, and I am a birth doula, yoga instructor, Reiki practitioner, and mama to a spirited young daughter (with more on the way!). My journey into birth work is deeply personal, rooted in the transformative experience of my own pregnancy and birth. I never realized how much I would truly benefit from the support of a doula until I was in the thick of it. Facing an unexpected induction, I could have easily spiraled into fear, but with my doula’s support, I stayed calm, asked questions, and made empowered decisions. That experience showed me the true value of having someone by your side who listens, offers clarity, and supports you when you need it most.
Before becoming a doula, I earned a degree in psychology and worked in a children’s hospital, which deepened my understanding of how the body and mind work together in times of stress and joy. I now bring this insight, along with my training in Reiki and yoga, to every family I support, offering emotional and physical comfort in ways that honor each person’s unique journey.
As a doula, my goal is to empower you to make confident choices about your birth. Whether you're planning a hospital birth, home birth, or birth center experience, I’m here to provide steady support and a grounded presence, helping you feel seen, heard, and confident in your decisions.
When I’m not supporting families, you can find me dancing in my weekly ballet class, knitting, doing arts and crafts with my daughter, getting lost in a romance novel, or discovering new places to eat with my family.
I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey to parenthood, offering emotional, physical, and informational support every step of the way.
My name is Nadia Yamini Freeman, and I am a Birth and Postpartum doula. I've been a doula for over 2 years now, and have supported 30+ families in their labors, births, and postpartum journeys. I trained to be a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula and a Certified Lactation Support Counselor (CLSC).
Born and raised in Austin, I grew up swimming, riding horses and playing music. I still do those things in my free time, as well as playing with my two dogs and performing with my band. I love to paint and write, often drawing inspiration from my time as a birthworker. My mission as a birthworker is to help birthing people transition from passive observers of birth, to sovereigns of their births and bodies.
My name is Mandy and I am a birth doula, childbirth and parent educator, postpartum planning consultant, wife, and mom! Though I didn’t realize it at the time, my path to doula work began while working with teen moms right after college. They were so incredibly resilient, and I was in awe of their strength and ability to adapt (and I LOVED getting to hang out with those sweet babies!). I saw firsthand the difference it makes when families feel empowered from the start. When I gave birth to my own son, I felt that same amazement at what my body and mind could do! At the same time, I was also surprised by how hard it was to adjust when reality didn’t meet my expectations in postpartum. Feeling incredibly powerful, and somehow disoriented at the same time, I felt a call to support families as a doula.
I want you to feel seen, to feel heard, and to be YOU-to shine as the person and parent that only you can be! Everyone comes into birth and parenthood with different contexts and experiences. I honor both the whole person you are and the experience you want to have. As your doula, I walk alongside you throughout your journey, providing educational, emotional, and physical support. Together, you, your birthing companion, and me operate as a cohesive and complimentary team. I have a special heart for big life transitions, and I would be beyond honored to support you throughout yours.
